Terms and Conditions of booking

\

Thank you for your interest in booking a stay at Ngor Island Surfcamp. By making a reservation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Last updated June 2024.

  1. All reservations require a deposit, in order to confirm a booking. This deposit is non-refundable, but transferable for a new trip within a period of 1 year from the original booking date. See point 4 for more specific details.

  2. In case of a cancellation, no-show or inability to travel, all deposits are non-refundable. These conditions extend to, but are not limited to, reasons resulting from: flight cancellations, cancellations of other modes of transport, missing a flight or other mode of transport, personal sickness or ill heath, personal change of plans, last-minute professional conflicts or limitations, passport validity, visa insufficiency or rejection, or gross negligence in planning your trip.

  3. In relation to point 2, the non-refundable policy also extends to events which can be qualified as force majeure, including but not limited to: earthquakes, tsunamis, disease-related pandemics, bad or extreme weather, strikes, war, civil war, political unrest, public protests and negative travel advice from either local or foreign governments.

  4. In relation to point 1, in case of a cancellation, no-show or inability to travel, all deposits are transferable for a new trip within a period of 1 year from the original booking date. The deposit transfer can only be made to the same name as the original booking party. It cannot be transferred to a new name or party.

  5. Following a confirmed booking, if a guest wishes to modify their dates of travel less than 3 months out from the original confirmed travel dates, a 45€ fee will be charged in order to accept the modification. Modifying dates of travel is only possible prior to arriving at Ngor Island Surfcamp. Spontaneous extension of confirmed travel dates is possible, free of charge, subject to availability. A new deposit may be required in the event of an extension of confirmed travel dates.

Following a confirmed booking, once a guest has arrived at Ngor Island Surfcamp, they are charged the full amount for the travel dates corresponding to their confirmed booking, regardless of whether they wish to spontaneously leave earlier than the original check-out date indicated in their confirm booking.
